MWA cuts water fees by half in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan

The Metropolitan Waterworks Authority will offer a big discount on the tap water fees of the residents in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan to help lower their financial burdens.

The people living in the aforesaid provinces will only pay half of their water usage fees in October. The MWA will also exempt fees for the amount of water that leaks from pipe breakages at private houses and companies.

The MWWA will in addition extend the payment deadline by another three months for those having difficulties settling their bills on time.
