MP Karun affirms boats and floating toilets are kept for flood relief purpose

Pheu Thai Don Mueang MP Karun Hosakul confirmed no boats and floating toilets kept away from being used to assist flood victims.

Asked about the leftover donation goods found in the Flood Relief Operations Centr (FROC) Don Mueang Airport, Mr. Karun said that the clothes, which he had not yet seen, were probably unusable and thus, had been screened out accordingly. Formerly, he had announced that second-hand clothes were not preferred as they would be of no use.

Moreover, it is affirmed that the boats and the floating toilets, under the responsibility of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, are kept in the warehouse, lining up to be distributed to the suitable places afterwards. They are neither left behind nor stocked up as personal properties as appeared in the news.
